Wake Park Imatra is a full-service water sports centre established in 2019. We offer some of the most exciting summer activities in South Karelia.
Our centre is located on Varpasaari Island in the Vuoksi Fishing Park area. Our 200-metre two-tower cable park provides an ideal setting for wakeboarding, wakeskating and water skiing.
The cable park is situated between the Imatra Swimming Hall and the surrounding park area. Nearby services include restaurants, saunas, a campsite, a bowling alley, sports facilities, a swimming hall and outdoor exercise areas.
With the help of our experienced instructors, beginners can safely and easily discover wakeboarding, wakeskating and water skiing. The calm, wave-free water also provides an excellent environment for more experienced riders to practise new tricks.
We also rent high-quality SUP boards and packrafts. Lake Saimaa and the River Vuoksi offer beautiful routes for independent paddling trips and guided excursions.

How to Get to the Water Sports Centre
All you need to bring is swimwear, a towel and a positive attitude.
Please arrive at the Vuoksi Fishing Park restaurant at least 15 minutes before the start of your session.
Check in with a member of the Wake Park Imatra or Vuoksi Fishing Park staff.
If you do not have your own equipment, you will be directed to our equipment storage area. Rental equipment includes a board, helmet, life jacket and wetsuit. The equipment storage building is located next to the restaurant building.
Once you have found suitable equipment, you can change in one of the changing cabins by the beach.
A long walkway leads from the beach to the starting dock. There you will meet our cable operator, who will give you the instructions and assistance you need before entering the water.
The operator will tell you when it is your turn. While waiting, put on your life jacket and helmet and fasten the board securely to your feet.
